Hello,

- Who among you is/are coming?

I searched some pages to see which one is OK to use - is or are - after 'who among you' and saw 'is' used. (I cannot find those sites now.) :-(

Could you tell me which one is OK?

Thanks.

I would use "is".

I think 'among you' is an adjectival prepositional phrase here, which can't be the subject of a verb, but I am not a teacher.

I would too, but in this particular sentence, are doesn't sound as weird as it does when the question is just Who ____ coming?
