Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.

I know this sentence is very formal and said to be correct.

But, I am confused. How can "should" replace "if"?

Please help!

In this case, "should" means the same thing as "if." It's just another way to say it. "Should" has more than one meaning.

I can't figure out how "should" be a synonym of "if"

Is that a connotation?

Any examples or reference would be appreciated!

Thank you!

That's just a formal usage of should. It doesn't have anything to do with connotations. If want an example in literary context, just wait a moment!

-Should you need any help, just call me.
-If I should die, think only this of me. (Rupert Brooke )

If it makes easier to understand, you can simply remove should from the above sentence.
So, in a sentence like this, should is used to refer to possible consequences.

I wouldn't say that "should" means the same as "if" in this context, or that 'should' replaces 'if'. It's a different construction, and it's largely a coincidence that there is only one word difference.

"Should you have further questions..." = "If you [should] have further questions..."

Compare these:
"Had he been here yesterday ..." = "If he had been here yesterday ..."
"Could he but reach town in time, he could prevent the disaster." [Old-fashioned usage]. = "If he could only reach town in time ..."

That was perfect. Thank you very much, Raymott:up:
