Write an introductory synopsis of the recent book you have read. (A writing work for practice on structure, grammar and tenses.)

Recently, I have read xxxxx a book written by xxxxx.

It is a story about a little girl and her journey. She was born in a large joint family in India. Being the first child of the second son of the family, she was very special to their parents, but, she was the third daughter in the family. The girl was not loved by anyone except the parents and grandfather. The family wanted a boy child; but, continue third time girl child was born. Everyone loved the eldest girl as the first child of the next generation; the second girl was ignored, and the third one was not even needed. As she grew older, she realised that the eldest cousin sister got everything she wanted however, she just got scolded and revile. Her parents were helpless as the leader of the family was grandmother who loved and listened only his eldest son and his wife which were not nice people.

There were two geriatrics, seven adults, one teenage, and three kids in the family. The eldest member of the family were great-grandparents; the leaders of the family were grandparents. They had four sons in which two were married; the youngest son was in teenage. The eldest son had two daughters; the second son had one daughter too.

The story is about the little girl's conflicts, dilemma and response towards different situations she faced in life.

I am working on usage and structure.

As she grew older, she realised that [STRIKE]the[/STRIKE] her eldest cousin sister ["Cousin sister" may be acceptable in Indian English, but it's not elsewhere. I suggest you use "female cousin" instead.] got everything she wanted, [STRIKE]however,[/STRIKE] whereas she just got scolded and reviled. Her parents [STRIKE]were[/STRIKE] are helpless as the [STRIKE]leader[/STRIKE] head of the family [STRIKE]was[/STRIKE] is the grandmother who loves and listens to only [STRIKE]his[/STRIKE] her eldest son and his wife [STRIKE]which[/STRIKE] who [STRIKE]were[/STRIKE] are not nice people.
I don't understand the text in blue.
