Hi guys,

Is it correct to say "If I had keft early, I would have been going to reach there or I would have had about to reach there"?

Neither of them works for me.

Is there any reason why you put the first one in progressive mode? Why not, 'If I'd left early, I would've got there on time.'?

So there is nothing like "would have been going to do".

Sure there is, but that was not your intended meaning.

You could say something like:

Had I not been sick, I would have been going to school.

Instead of "going to school", you're being "on time."

so would have been going to reach is acceptable but what about " If I had left early, I would have had(or been) about to reach there by now" ?

Correct capitalisation, please!

No, your intended meaning is being on time.

If I had left early, I would've been there on time.
If I had left early, I would have reached there by now.

It's as simple as that.

No I mean I am on my way to my destination but I have got late and wondering that if I had left early, I would be few meters away from that place.

If I had left early, I would have reached there by now. (You would have been on time if you had left early)

If I had left earlier, I would have been closer by now. (You would have been closer if you had left earlier)

Or can I saw "would be closer by now" as I am still on my way.
