The meaning of page here is an electronic signal sent to a device a person carries with them. When the signal is received, the person carrying the device (called a pager) is alerted by a beeping sound that someone wants this person to call them on the telephone.

Can "page" also mean "to give somebody a missed call"? I mean when you call somebody and keep it ringing only once or twice. And are there any other expression that carry this meaning?
