Hi, this is my writing practice. I kindly ask you to correct any mistakes and unnaturral expressions.
Nowadays a lot of young people feel the need or choose to go abroad for work. There are some factors causing or facilitating this phenomenon. Northern hemisphere of the world is generally economically developed and in terms of population it is old. On the other hand global south is economically still developing and in terms of population it is young. This fact causes a young workforce flow from global south to global north. Globalization facilitates this spesific flow along with general workforce flow around the world. Living abroad for work has some advantages and disadvantages for young people.
The main advantage of living abroad for work is professional development. Young people can find better jobs that provides better salary and employee development. Furthermore they can improve their language skills and interpersonal relations with people from different cultures. Another advantage is personal development. They can enhance their adaptation skills, experience different approaches to life, and experience different perspectives.
The main disadvantage of working abroad is the feeling of loneliness that comes from being separated from family, friends and homeland. This may be saddening for sensitive souls or the people who have not seperated from their family and friends before. Another disadvantage is the hardship that comes from settling to a foreing country: finding a job, a place to live and people to connect with. As a foreigner finding a convinient job may be challanging depending on the person’s skills. Sharing an apartment with strangers might be needed and this could be hard to adapt. Some intoverted persons may struggle to find people to connect with depending on the diversity of the place they live.
In conclusion working abroad has advantages like profesional and personal development, and disadvantages like lonliness and hardship for young people. However disadvantages seems like an issue of adaptation. They seem temporaray, and the experience derived from them will be empowering once they are overcomed. All in all working abroad for young people seems more advantegous.
