Students arrange cards to make silly or sensible drawings of clothes on boys, girls, monsters, etc, with Present Continuous or imperative verbs, plus an optional TPR warmer.

Instructions for teachers

Decide if you are going to use the “Draw…” or “… is wearing” cards and cut up one pack of cards per class or group of two to four students. Students make sentences for someone to draw or (in the optional warmer) touch, perhaps with two or more other people racing to touch or draw the right thing. What they draw can be added to a previous drawing or started anew, but all the things in that round must go on the same one person, animal, monster, etc. For example, if the cards say “Draw four red hats”, they could go on a single monster with four heads or on top of each other on a single person’s head (not on four different people).
