Play the game or games below that your teacher tells you to, using the table in the middle of the page each time.
Months dice bluffing game
Ask your partner a question about something that people usually don’t do in every month of the year like “When do you wear a scarf?” and “When do you (most often) go to the beach?” They will roll a dice and answer with one of the months next to that number below. After up to three follow-up questions, guess if that month is true for that action or not, then take turns doing the same thing.

Months things in common dice game
Work in teams of two or three. Roll the dice and try to find something that you both do/ you all do at that time but you think that no one else in the class does. Then do the same for other rolls of the dice.
When your teacher tells you to, tell two of your things in common to the class and see if you share that with anyone else too. You get one point for each thing that you only share with your partner(s), not with other classmates. Then go back to rolling the dice and trying to find more things the same in your group.

Useful phrases for playing the game - “We both/ all… in…” - “Me too.” - “No one else? We get one point. Who’s next?” |
