Opinions language word formation practice on the topic of health
Try to make statements about health and medicine you both agree on, using key words for the opinions from the next two pages each time. You can also use the medical vocabulary on the following page to help if you like.
When your teacher stops you, share one opinion you agreed on and see what the class think.
Ask about any medical language you are not sure about, working together to make opinions with it each time.
Ask about any opinions language you aren’t sure about, working together to use it to give opinions on health each time.
Do the word formation activity on the last two pages, first of all without any help.
With your pens down, take one more look at the opinions language list, then try the word formation task again.
Compare your list to the opinions language list. Other forms are possible, so please check if you wrote something different.
Change groups. Do the same trying to agree on opinions task as before, but this time with less help (just the health vocabulary and/ or just the root words, as your teacher tells you).
