For questions 1 – 23, read the sentences below. Use the words given in capitals at the end of each line to form a word that fits in the gap in the same line.

Film, television and theatre

Due to its sophisticated script and… performances, this series is far better than the usual Korean soap opera. MEMORY

Everyone was talking and tweeting about this… show, but it took me a while to understand what was so special about it. REAL

I first came across this… murder mystery series while I was just randomly channel hopping. SUSPENSE

This thriller’s absolutely… score really makes it stand out from the crowd of cop movies. FORGET

I really got into this series despite not being a huge fan of… comedy. SITUATE

The lead actor, who you might know from “House”, gives a believable and… performance. MOVE

The slapstick parts were… amusing, but I didn’t actually laugh out loud at all. FAIR

There were loads of action scenes and special effects but I was still utterly… by this superhero flick. - BORE

This clichéd and predictable time travel film is only… for the geekiest sci-fi fans. SUIT

This highly original and… play will close in two weeks, so rush right/ straight out to the box office and buy a ticket! FASCINATE

Unless you really like… bad taste teen comedies, don’t bother tuning into this notoriously irritating comedy. MIND

We are not… looking forward to the sequel. REAL

Food

Unfortunately, that lunch turned out to be almost certainly the most… meal I have ever eaten. REVOLTED

The interior is nice enough, but it’s definitely worth… extra to sit outside. PAY

My main… of the restaurant would be the slowness of the service. CRITIC

The starter and main course were… delicious, but I wasn’t so keen on the dessert. ABSOLUTE

We were dreading the bill, but it wasn’t nearly as… as we had expected. EXPENSE
