Help with writing a formal letter

Hey guys I have a homework to write a formal letter and I was wondering if anyone could help me.
This is the task:
You want to go to University in Canada
Write to Principal of the University asking for information.
You will need to find out about courses costs, accomodation and how good your English needs to be.
