scheduling an intereview

I am applying to some boarding schools and I am an international student, so I can't go to an on-campus interview. I have to ask the admission office for the regional interview with one of the alumni.
Can anyone improve my writing please?

Dear Whom It May Concern:

I am a student at -------- School, beginning my second quarter of the freshman year.

As you have figured out, I am an international student; therefore, I am sorry to tell you that I cannot make it to the on-campus interview. Regarding the fact, I would like to schedule an off-campus interview with alumni, if any.
