    Default grammar in the letter

    Hello,
I am writing a letter to establish the status I will have in a university in USA. I hope you can help me with the grammar. Thanks in advance.

    Dear XX,

I went through the web site you gave me and consider that what suit me better is the status of visiting student researcher. This taking in account that my institution has not previous agreements with UC Berkeley for exchange students.

Regarding the courses I don’t need to enroll formally. Because I am going for a short period of time, and not for the entire fall semester, I know it will be difficult to attend any course. Nevertheless if I have the opportunity of participate on a class I will audit it.

I really appreciate all your help, thank you very much. Let me know if you need any further information.

    Yours sincerely,
    XXX
