Could you please correct my letter?Would you also mind telling me opinions about it(what I should improve....) and also if it is adequate for the FCE exam?

Write a letter to a friend telling him/her about your first day at work.

Dear Stephanie
I'm writing to inform you that I've got a new job.
I started yesterday at 8 am as a librarian.
The library is set on Ninetales street and it is extremely huge and surprisingly popular even among young people.
The most convenient way to get there is to take the bus, in fact my home is far only five bus stops from the library.
I'm relieved to be working with and expert colleague because the job is more difficult than it could seem.
Furthermore I have the opportunity to see lots of people, for istance, yesterday I met an old friend that I hadn't seen for ages.
My main duties are to keep silence in all the rooms of the library, advise people their most suitable books and classify all the books in their respective shelves.
I've always considered myself as a bookworm so I'm very pleased and glad to work here even if the salary isn't high.

I've always considered myself as a bookworm so I'm very pleased and glad to work here even if the salary isn't high. for a salary that isn`t very generous/even though the salary isn`t generous.

*Situated: "to be set on" has nothing to do with "being situated in". Somebody that sets on attacks someone else.

*With: the pattern is BE POPULAR WITH SBY, not BE POPULAR AMONG SBY.

*Travel by bus: you are not specifying which is the bus you take, so it is better to put "travel by bus".
