Dear John,

How is it going? I am writing this letter to invite you for a surprise party that I would like to hold it for Peter. As you know, Peter failed in the Math exam last week and he is very upset now. I thought that it would be great idea if I make him happy in this way.

I planned to hold this party on Peter's birthday on June 18, 2011. Peter will come to school at 8 am every day. So I think that we should attend to school before him at 7 am. We should prepare many things for the party as fast as we can.

Finally, We will need some meals, drinks and balloons for this party. So, I think that all classmates could bring some things with themselves. We could write all required items on a paper and then everyone select one item.
