Smile Help about writing follow-up email.

    Hi all,

Can anyone suggest me if the below composed email is correct:

    Good morning XXXX,

Hope everything is going well with you.

I am just writing this email to follow-up about the status update of RFP we were discussing about, in our last meeting.

We look forward in working with you in future projects.

    Thanks and Regards,

    XXXXXXXX

Strictly speaking, this sentence is asking if anyone has the ability to see if the e-mail is correctly written.

Re-write: Would someone tell me if the e-mail below is written correctly?

    Good morning XXXX,

Hope everything is going well with you. (To begin with "Hope", though acceptable, is informal. A more formal way is, "I hope..."

I am just writing this email to follow-up about on the status update of the RFP we were discussing (or. "we discussed") about, in our last meeting.

We look forward in working with you in future projects. (This conveys the sense that the present RFP will not be accepted and that you are hoping that you will be able to do business with this person in the future. If you want to include the present RFP, as well as future ones - "We look forward to working with you on this project and on projects in the future.")

    Thanks and Regards,

    XXXXXXXX
