I use in my lessons the tool ThingLink:

Make Your Images Interactive - ThingLink

ThingLink lets users add interactive links to any photo and create very nice presentations. You can add links to music, pictures and movies.

I think this tool can be very useful by working with the scenario "Students creating science learning resources". And it is very easy to use.

If you find this tool interesting too, maybe you can add it to your matrix?
