asking for leave and to ensure the permanent job.

hi,
i would like to ask for the leave for one month as i have to attend my sister's marriage at my native place.
please grant me a vacation.
as it was mentioned in interview and job offer letter about six months of probational period of my job, i would like to ask about getting my permanent position under your business.
