Default query test result for Foraml letter writing

I disagree with your marking of this question as incorrect, because one does NOT put the salutation 'Dear" onto an envelope. The question is not limited to the names section of the statement, but the answer is limited.

I consider my answer to the question as 'correct'

Question #: 1: Dear Mr John Smith, This is a correct on an envelope.
User's answer: False
Correct answer: True
Additional Notes: You can you both names on the envelope.

The salutation does not go on the envelope. The address goes on the envelope.

I agree. Was this a question in one of our tests, here at UsingEnglish?

There is a quiz on formal letter writing, but that question is not on it. (I just finished that one.) (Somebody else did mention seeing a mistake on the don't/doesn't test, but I took that one and it is just fine.)
