Would somebody please comments my sentences. I am replying an email.

Hi all,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is ____ ____, a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr ___ and Dr ____ from the Q Research Center. I would like to say that I am a "He". That is alright.I understand,sometimes it is hard to non- Malaysian to determine the gender of a person by looking at a name.

Currently I am working on my PhD thesis which is focussing on the (title of the thesis). As part of my PhD, I am planning to do a comparative study on the (title of the research )in (country 1) and (country 2). Similar to you,I have had only preliminary discussion with my supervisors.I probably will start working on the methods in a few weeks time. I am look forward to working with all of you and I am very sure that I will learn a lot of things from you.

I would add it post scriptum rather than incorporating it in the body of the letter.
