Default Pls help me with application letter

I would like to send an application letter but i don't actually know if the company has a vacancy. So can anyone pls tell me how can i write the introduction of the letter. i wrote something like this but i'm not sure if its good:

I am sending this application letter together with a CV, as I am very interested in tourism and am seeking a position as a receptionist at (HOTEL NAME).

Pls help me, its kind of urgent

Your opening is ok. However, you might prefer a slightly more formal approach...

Dear ...

I am writing to enquire if you have any vacancies for the position of receptionist at ...
I enclose a copy of my c.v. and would be grateful if I could be considered for any such position you may have.

I would probably write smth like this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Application for post of hotel receptionist

I refer to your advertisement in (where you found the position and the date) and would like to apply for the post of hotel receptionist.

Details of my education and employment record to date are as set out in the enclosed CV. I am presently employed as ....., a position I took up (when).

I am genuinely intersted in tourism and I would appreciate it if you would like to see me for a personal interview at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,

............
