salutation in a commercial letter

Hello,
I am writing a business letter to inform customers and suppliers about changes in our company. May I use "Dear business friends" as it is usually said in my native language? Is such expression common in English or do English native speakers prefer another one?

It is not usual. It would be usual to create a letter template which is then sent to each existing customer and supplier by name through Mail Merge.
