hi
i have to write a formla letter to my head of year and to inform him where do we want to go for the trip and also i have to use persuasive technique
can you help how to start my letter from please and even how to write it

In most cases we say tell and not inform.

This doesn't seem like a form letter to me.
What is a head of year?
