| Please edit my letter: Dear Mrs Brown I am writing in response to your advertisement on hiring employees in the last issue of The NEWS.I'd like to ask a few questions if you dont mind. I would be grateful if you could introduce to me the new qualifications in your company .I'd like to know about a list of main jobs . I wondered if it possible for someone to have a single office. I look forward to hearing from you Yours sincearly Leila Taghavi |

| Have you read any of the preceding messages? - or checked out the link provided? What sort of formal request is this? If you would prepare a sample letter and post it, someone will comment. |

| I have a problem with the opening "To whom it may concern". This is the sort of opening you would use in message in a bottle type scenario. You have no idea at all who will find the bottle so the only alternatives would be something like "Dear Bottle Finder". In almost all cases something is known about the recipient. Even if you dont have a name you can address it to the office or position of the person. eg The Manager MakesUPuke Pizza Parlor Main Street Dear Sir, ... If you want to address a department, where you dont know, or care, who will open it, then use "Dear Sirs," NeverPaysOut Insurance NotOurFault House Main Street Dear Sirs, ...
