I want your help to write my Essay Question for a scholarship. I want to know is it the same like other type of essays. If so , should I start the introduction -- General -> more specific -- like other essays. Here is one question 1. What do you think you will gain from participation in the Program (1) academically,(2) Personally? 2.What would you most like to share with Americans about your home country and culture? }. Thank you

I understand that this is an application for a scholarship program. Then, you have to tell them the real motif you would like to enrol in such a program: extensive training opportunities to promote your personal skills development, your future career. Maybe you would like to gain valuable experience and carry out programs to improve educational opportunities for youth, to develop teaching, to demonstrate initiative, to demonstrate the ability to work independently and so on. I do not know what kind of scholarship program you are going to apply for. You can decide for yourself.

I don't see the need to start with generalities at all- the questions are specific and about you.

You are most welcome! One more piece of advice! You cannot say advices because this noun is uncountable! e.g. Thank you for your advice / help.
