Help with letter of application

Task :

You have seen an advertisement for a summer camp in the USA.They require young people to work as counsellors and take care of children from 11-15 years old.

Write your letter of application and include information about :
- Your English Language Skills
- Your Experience of working with children
- Your interests and leadership skills
The text should be from 80-100 words long

My letter of application

I am writing to apply for the position of counsellor as advertised in the dailly newspapers.
As you could see from my curriculum vitae,I have been working with children for many humanitarian organisations worldwide for the last five years.In addition,I would like to note that I have been awarded grade c in the first certificate in English by the Cambridge university .

You could consider adding spaces after a comma and a period, even though it's not a clerical job you're applying for.

Hello,
You may want to write something like this :

I'm writing to apply for the counsellor position advertised in (name of newpaper). Please find enclosed my curriculum vitae. In the last five years, I have worked for different worldwide organisations (maybe you should give a bit more information on their activities, did the organisation deal with children?).
I have passed the Cambridge First Certificate in English in (date) and was awarded a grade C.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
