I would like to make a slogan in our company.
Safety is the most important thing and should be considered as a top priority.
Are these slogans OK? If not could you suggest some?
Thank you very much!

1. Safety first, then production.
2. Safety first, production next.
3. Safety before production.

Can we say 'Safety comes before production'?

Thank you very much for the suggestion.
If we want to include "production" then could you suggest one?

Safety and production, hand in hand. :)

P.S. I like the way you think about safety at workshop; I have worked in one or two firms where the primary concern of the powers that be was the sell numbers and the amount of the production without much caring about safety at work ...

'Safety overrides production.'

I think it is grammatical but might be not suitable for a slogan.

I would hope that my workers knew why they were there, and would only need to be reminded about safety. Where I come from "Safety First" is universally understood to mean that safety is the priority, and that you employ it at the same time as production - you don't be safe first and then get on with production. 'First' isn't a temporal concept here. Matthew's suggestion conforms to this. But I think that adding anything to "Safety First" dilutes the message.

I agree.
I agree strongly enough that my "like" on that post isn't a strong enough endorsement.

When you have to shut down production for the day because of an accident on the job then you realize how important safety at the workplace is. There have been fatal accidents at the workplace because not enough attention was paid to safe work practices.

How about:

It's my job. It's your job. Safety is everybody's job.

(That one was mine, but they didn't use it.)
