Click to expand... It's a petrol station or a service station, not a filling station in Aus - and of course, never a gas station. I think that would apply also to Britain, but someone can verify it.

"Fill up" was the usual term used in the days when people could afford to do that. "Get petrol" is a neutral way of saying it.
