Hello,
-She didn't care what her father thought.
-I don't care about what people think of me.
-You may take several months to reach your target weight - it depends how much you want to lose.
-Choosing the right bike depends on what you want to use it for.
I can't understand why we may not use the prepositions such as ''on, about, of,..etc'' before ''what, where, how,...etc'', but we can't construct the sentences as as the following. Can we omit always the prepositions before 'what, where, how,...etc?''
-I don't care you. (WRONG)
-'How long are you staying?' 'I don't know; it depends the whether. (WRONG)
Thanks.
