Have I made any mistakes?

Gina had been and arduos worker for over ten years, always delivering exceptional results and unparalleled performance. As fate would have it, though, she succumbed to carnal temptations, and before she knew it, her heart was engulfed in an euphoric desire for Mark, her superior. This affair was devouring her, but deep inside, she was acutely aware that indulging in the pleasure of falling in love with Mark would be the end of her career.

I think it should be '...an arduous...'.

Thank you. That was a typo. Apart from that, are there any grammar or vocabulary issues?

You mean a hard worker. "Arduous" doesn't work.

"Arduous" describes a task, an activity, not a person.

Thank you all. This is why I consult native speakers before incorporating a new word to my English vocabulary.

Two things, Dutch Van der. First, I have edited your latest post to replace Ty with Thank you. Because our goal is to help learners at all levels learn standard English, we avoid such modern internet abbreviations. Secondly, there is no need to post a note of thanks. You can just use the Thank button if you wish to acknowledge that a reply was helpful.
