Please give me example of words that can be both noun and adjective but different in meaning..

Adjectives and nouns have always different meanings. Do you mean that their meanings have to be also unrelated? I don't have an example...
Or maybe you simply need an adjective and a noun that are homonymous? Like right (noun)/right (adjective)?

I think what he meant was this:
present (# absent) & present (= gift)
