The host wants her program t be the best, and she's nervous because they have so many competitions. Her friend says "We'll find a way in. Get the same adrinalin rush"

I think tat "adrinaline rush" here is used to carry a certain meaning , not the literal meaning. Is it a famous idiom or expression?

Thanks

Thanks. So she simply means that thei programme will be great (as the audience will have an adrinaline rush) like he other programmes?

I'm confused because I think "adrinaline" has to do with fear!

Thanks.

Not only fear but also excitement.

Excitement!! yes! That makes it clear enough. Thanks you. :)

The appearance of your bus coming round the corner, when you're still 50m from the stop, triggers an adrenaline rush - which helps you run faster. Fear is part of the equation (the fear of missing the bus), but it doesn't have to be the main feature. When someone bungee-jumps from a great height, he/she knows there's nothing to fear, but it's still frightening; people do it because of the adrenaline rush.
