If the speaker is a teenager like 15, 16, can he or she say like this?
Doesn't "grow up" mean "to become an adult"? Is "growing" a replacement?

*After growing up, I came to like comics.

The speaker considers himself/herself a grownup.

(You can say anything you want to.)
