Dear English teachers,
Q: Although it's been 3 years since they broke up, she still _____ him.
(A) missed
(B) has missed
(C) misses
(D) was missing
I am not sure whether the answer is "B" or "C". I checked all the grammar about present perfect and i found we can use "still + a negative present perfect", but if we want to use still with present perfect, we should write "have/has + still+ +p.p.". In this way, if we want to use present perfect, we should say " she has still missed him. Therefore the answer to this question is "C". Am I right?
Thanks for every teacher who answers my quesiton
Sabrina

We're not supposed to help people with their homework. I will tell you this. Suppose you heard someone say that, but for some reason you missed part of the sentence, and you want to figure out what the missing word(s) should be. (It's not multiple choice.) Don't ask yourself what grammar rules apply. Ask yourself what makes sense.
