can anybody tell me please other ways of saying ''it continues to change''?

maybe something more formal or academic.

Its history has changed drastically over the past decades, and it continues to change.

I can't think of anything more formal or academic. You could say "... and it is still changing".
 
I do not see any reason of deleting the word ''please'' :-?

I have no problem with the word "please" but it was in an unnatural position in your sentence.

Please can you tell me other ways of saying ...?
Can you tell me other ways of saying ..., please?
 
Also: "Can you please tell me...?"
