Are both 'China is a country of/with a long history' correct?
How to understand 'like the last two I got were important',can I say 'He is the man that I saw yesterday is kind' as an analogy?
Mr. Kim: You got a message.
Korben Dallas: Yeah
Mr. Kim: You're not gonna open it? It might be important.
Korben Dallas: Yeah, like the last two I got were important. The first one was from my wife, telling me she was leaving. The second was from my lawyer, telling me he was leaving... with my wife.

Thanks a lot!

'He is the man that I saw yesterday is kind' This doesn't make any sense.

Hello, Hiya Raymond.:-D
If you add these words in bold, the sentence will be easier for you to understand.
"(It might be important) like the last two I got were important."

Is ‘like the last two I got were important’ spoken english?

Is ‘China is of long history’ correct as ‘he is of great power’ is?

Thanks

Is ‘like the last two I got were important’ spoken English? It's both spoken and written English.

Is ‘China is of long history’ correct as ‘he is of great power’ is?They are both incorrect.

In future please ask unrelated questions in separate threads. We've got two different strands going on at the same time here.
