Hello,

Can anyone help me finguring out which sentence sounds more natural?

[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]1. Are you sure you saw him take my keys?
2. Are you sure you saw him taking my keys?

1 is an extract from answer to some question I found on the internet, and 2 is the one that I made up.
I think I've heard 2 alot in daily conversation, so I'm wondering if it's an expression that is only tolerated in speech or it is just a way of emphasizing the action itself.

Thanks=)

I prefer and would tend to use #1, but #2 is OK and could be used to emphasize the action.

Thank you Yankee and I with you have a great weekend=)

Thank you, Yankee, and I [STRIKE]with[/STRIKE] wish you [STRIKE]have[/STRIKE] a great weekend.

=) Don't try to make your own emojis. If you really need one, click on the :) icon in the toolbar and choose one. An emoji is not a replacement for a closing punctuation mark.

Please note my corrections and comments above.

If you want to use "have" in your opening sentence, you need to say "I hope you have a great weekend".
