Hi,

Is the following sentence correct?

He is as brave as she.
 
Yes, though I think many people would put a verb at the end.

He's as brave as she is.
 
He is as brave as she is.

Yes, but it's very formal and a verb like "is" would normally be added at the end.

Comparative clauses like the underlined one are obligatorily reduced in some way; here the complement of the verb "is" is missing but is understood as "brave".

The meaning is: "He is x brave; she is y brave; x=y".
