[Grammar] brave the rain

Are the following sentences natural? Please give me corrections. Thanks!


  1. She didn’t bring her umbrella with her, so she had to brave the rain to run home as fast as she could.
  2. She didn’t take an umbrella with her, so she had to run home in the rain.
  3. She didn't bring an umbrella with her, so she just ran as faster as she could.
 
As faster is grammatically wrong. It should be as fast.
