Are these sentences correct:

1-I made the box as heavy as I could carry.

2-I made the box as heavy as I could carry it.

3-The box was as heavy as I could carry.

4-I made the sauce as spicy as I could eat.

5-I made the sauce as spicy as I could eat it.

I think they all sound good.
I think that adding the "it" at the end is optional for emphasis.
Either way sounds good.
