[Grammar] "as many as", "the same number of ", and "of the same number as" which is better?

"as many as", "the same number of ", and "of the same number as" which is better?

  1. Please cut the cake into as many equal pieces as the guests.
  2. Please cut the cake into the same number of equal pieces as the guests.
  3. Please cut the cake into equal pieces of the same number as the guests.

I created the sentences above to describe that, for example, when there are three guests, the cake should be cut into three equal pieces.
I would like to know these sentences are grammatically correct.

I would choose No. 3. I think 1 & 2 are a bit off.

The original sentences made me wonder how many pieces the guests had been cut into.
