Dear all,

1. You should read as many English books as possible.
2. You should read English books as many as possible.
3. You should read English books, as many as possible.

I learned that #1 is correct and #2 is wrong. But what about #3 (There's a comma between books and as)?

I think there are occasions where you want to add some words to what you have just said.

#3 seems to be acceptable in that case.

It works in speech, exactly for the reason you said — we add words to what we have just said.
