Hello Teachers,
Could you tell me the difference between "bank sector" and "banking sector"?
Is there any difference between them?
Thank a lot!

I can't think of any context where there'd be a difference.

Thank you,

Do you mean that they almost have the same meaning?
In these below examples, can I use "bank sector" instead of "banking sector"?
1. Vietnam Banking sector experienced dramatic growth in both quality and total assests during 2005-2010.
2. Analysis of the Vietnamese Banking Sector with special reference to Corporate Governance.

Thank you,

2. Analysis of the Vietnamese Banking Sector with special reference to Corporate Governance ...
I'm familiar with "Banking sector". If I read "Bank sector", I would assume that the writer meant "Banking sector".
Similar to "Mining sector" and "Mine sector". I would not use the second, but I'd understand it.
I'm not saying that the usage is the same, or that you should change something that is conventional and correct to something that is unusual, even if it does mean the same thing.
