[Vocabulary] beggar or begger?

hi,

the dictionary says the correct spelling (meaning someone who is asking for money on the street) is BEGGAR, but I can often see the word (meaning the same) as BEGGER. Is this spelling totally incorrect?

Yes it is, totally incorrect.
