It's another of my chess questions but I think I have given you context.I've no idea. Where did you read it?
Is this another of your chess questions where you're going to give us the context in post #3 instead of #1?

It's another of my chess questions but I think I have given you context.
It's quite acceptable to write, "This is another question about my chess book", or similar, on all of your posts.Hi.
The text reads:
"Black...blew out the position of her opponent's king."
What does "blowing out" mean here?
I have played chess for 60 years and have never heard the expression you are asking about.
I still want to know where you read it.

If you have the analysis of the whole game, then you should have a pretty good idea of what the writer means here. You, a national chess coach, and Rover, a chess player for 60 years, do not know it as a technical term. Nobody else can know its meaning without full context. Even then, it might be an expression that nobody else has ever used in that context.FIDE TRG.In a Chapter by GM Mikhail Girevich, annotating a game in which he is Black and IM Marie Sebag is White.Sebag lost.
