I just written an English email to my colleague, in which I wrote the sentence "Does it work right?". What I want to say is "Does it work the way we expect it to work?" I think my colleague can understand it. I'm just wondering whether a native English speaker would express the meaning in this way.

I have just written an [STRIKE]English[/STRIKE] email in English to my colleague, in which I wrote the sentence "Does it work right?". Although perfectly understandable, it's a little unnatural for me. I might say "Does it work OK?" but I would be more likely to use the present continuous "Is it working OK?" or "Is it working properly?"
