Can 'teach' be the short form of teacher?

In the animation 'Wizards', the girl says to the man ' Good work, teach.
Does 'teach' mean teacher here?

Yes. In very casual American usage youngsters sometimes address their teacher as teach. I wouldn't expect this abbreviation in other contexts.

[STRIKE]Yeah[/STRIKE] Yes. He's kind of a teacher.

Please stick to standard English words on the forum. What do you mean by "kind of a teacher"?

It's not a standard form, so I wouldn't use it in most contexts, but that is what it means.
