Do you need a comma before "eventually" at the end of a sentence?

"I will pass out, eventually."

Welcome to the forum, theololo.

The phrasal verb 'pass out' has at least two meanings. What do you want your sentence to mean?

I will sleep/pass out

Also, thank you :)

I will sleep/pass out.

There is no need for a comma in "I will pass out eventually". If you change the construction of the sentence, you would need a comma - "Eventually, I will pass out".

I am not a teacher.

That's right, if what is meant is really 'eventually'.

In Latin languages there is the 'false friend' eventualmente/éventuellement which carries the meaning of 'possibly'.

'I will pass out, possibly' could work with 'possibly' being added as an afterthought.
