[Grammar] Correction task about tenses

Hey

I have a trouble with understanding where to use the different tenses, and i need some help with these tasks.

1. CORRECT THE MISTAKES IN THE SENTENCES BELOW AND EXPLAIN YOUR CORRETIONS.
a) I had a bath when the phone rang
b) The novel is describing the dangerous journey of three children across post-war Europe
c) In the wild, lions are usually hunting in packs.
d) The poem has three stanzas and each stanza is consisting of four lines.
e) Last night when you called I watched television
f) When I asked him what he was doing, he said he was a writer.
g) I'm usually going to Spain on my holidays

Well you need to think about when the actions are happening and when they're happening in relation to each other then.

Are they a routine, habit or general fact/truth? (present simple)
Are they happening now? (present continuous)
Did they happen at a specific time in the past? (past simple)
Did they happen in the past for a longer amount of time? (past continuous)

All of your sentences should be one of the tenses above.
