He can't play football because of his damaged leg.

Hi, I don't understand what kind of mistake in this sentence? Vocabulary reports that it's possible to use damaged as broken leg.
Where is the mistake? A comma one?

He can't play football, because of his damaged leg

Or is a tense error? Even if I have some doubts:

Because of his damaged leg, he wasn't able to play football.

Please let me know

Thanks

Jack

I'm not a mother tongue, who help me to improve it?

I'm not a [STRIKE]mother tongue[/STRIKE] native English speaker. Who will help me to improve it?

Your teacher will help you.

I'm not so sure if there's an error in the sentence. It may be only a matter of word choice. You might replace damaged leg with leg injury. That's about all I can see.

Who told you that there is an error in that sentence? Where did you find the sentence? What did your teacher say?

Nor am I. Perhaps "injured" would be better.
